Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is handled when you use freevideoconvert.com ("the site", "we", "us"). We have tried to keep it short and plain.
Your video files
Files you add to the converter are processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers, we cannot see them, and we do not store them. When you close or reload the page, the converted files held in the page are discarded.
Information we collect
- No accounts. You do not need to register, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the converter.
- Server logs. The site is delivered by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. Like most web hosts, it records standard technical information about requests, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
- Cookies and local storage. At the time of writing, the site itself does not set cookies or use local storage for tracking. If this changes we will update this policy.
- Analytics. We do not currently use an analytics service. If we add one, we will describe it here.
Advertising
The site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. If it does, the following applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

We do not control the cookies set by advertising partners. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Children
The site is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to certain processing.
